Your Leadership StyleWhat’s Your Leadership Style?
God has called each of us to be leaders. From leading ourselves to our families, businesses, and National Government we are all called to lead. As a leader we are to transport people, to move others to do something they have never done before; whether that is personal or corporate, we are to make ourselves and our world a better place. How we each lead in this, however, is a matter of personal style and comfort. As leaders, we typically lead, manage, and operate in a way that suits our own personality, giftedness, and experience. In some circumstances the way we lead can be very effective while in others, ineffective. Understanding our leadership style and the styles of others can help us to be more effective in how we apply our leadership abilities in different situations. We will look at the 4 basic leadership styles and how they might be used and applied for maximum effectiveness. Knowing your Leadership Style is vital to your significance. There are 4 styles of leadership, according to George Barna in his book "A Fish Out Of Water." (Integrity Publishers, 2002) 1. The Directing Leader
2. The Strategic Leader
3. The Team-Building Leader
4. The Operational Leader
